Two hours on a cold bench

Watch who stays

Same section, same game, same temperature. One parent brought a SitWarm. Everyone else lasted about a period.

Both heat zones on medium, running off the power bank in the side pocket the whole time.

What actually matters

Three things a blanket
can't do

You've tried the stadium cushion, the two blankets, the hand warmers in your pockets. None of them fix the bench. This does.

Dual-zone heat
01

Heat where the cold gets in

The back and the seat heat separately, each with three levels. Most people run high for the first few minutes then settle on medium for the rest of the game. Warm through your jacket in under two minutes.

Six recline positions
02

A real back, not a bar

Six recline positions on a steel frame with thick padding. Sit up when the game's close, lean back for the warm-up and the breaks. Your lower back stops being the reason you leave early.

SitWarm seats sitting steady on the bleachers
03

Sits steady on any bleacher

A wide, flat base with a non-slip bottom, so it stays square on aluminum, wood or a stadium seat and doesn't creep forward when you lean back. Unfold it, set it down and sit. Nothing to clip, nothing to adjust in the cold.

A cold Saturday

Start to finish,
without the shivering

Same bleachers as everyone else. Different afternoon.

  1. The early slot

Coffee in the cup holder, seat on high, back on medium. By the time they finish warm-ups you've forgotten it's below freezing in here.

  2. Sitting up, locked in

Upright position, planted on the bench, nothing sliding. Phone in the side sleeve so you can film the goal without digging through a bag.

  3. Lean back

Drop it two clicks, turn the heat down a notch, sit there. The person next to you on bare aluminum is doing the shuffle-walk to the lobby to thaw.

  4. Fold it and go

Folds flat with everything still in the pockets, backpack straps over one shoulder, hand free for the gear bag. It goes back in the trunk until next time. Which is tomorrow.

The two-seat pack

Buy one and you'll be back for a second

That's the most common review we get. One parent buys it, the other spends a game watching them be comfortable, and a week later there's a second order from the same address. Skip the week. Two seats ship free and each one costs less.

Turned it down after 20 minutes

Our rink is one of the cold ones, people bring sleeping bags. I had this on high for the first period and had to turn it to medium because it was too warm through my jacket. Never thought I'd say that in that building.

Friday nights in November are different now

Metal bleachers, 28 degrees, wind coming across the field. I used to leave at halftime to sit in the truck. Sat through the whole playoff game with the back on and didn't think about the cold once.

Saved my back, that's the whole review

Two kids, two teams, four to five games a week. Bleachers were wrecking my lower back by Thursday. The recline and the actual padding did more than the heat for me, and the heat is great.

Buying another one for my husband

He made fun of it when it showed up. By the second period he was asking to switch seats. Ordering him his own so I can keep mine.

I can come to every game again

I'm 71. I'd stopped going to the cold ones because an hour on aluminum left me stiff for two days. My daughter got me this. I've been to every game since Thanksgiving. It sits steady so I'm not worried about it moving when I stand up.

Early spring tournaments, finally bearable

March soccer in the northeast is wet and windy and the bleachers are freezing. Wiped the seat down after a drizzle, no issues. The cup holder alone is worth it when you're holding a coffee for three hours.

Three games a day, one power bank

Ran it on medium for most of a tournament Saturday off the 20,000 bank and it still had charge at the end. Folds up with the straps and goes in the car with the hockey bag between games.

Best team-mom gift I've ever given

Got one for my best friend whose son plays travel. She texted me a photo from the rink the next morning with the seat on and a coffee. She's used it every game since.

Big guy, fits fine with the arms down

6'3", 240. Armrests fold down so the seat opens up. The back is tall enough to actually support me, which most of these don't. Took me one game to get the recline figured out, you press from behind.

SitWarm Power Bank

Goes with it

The Power Bank

20,000mAh, which is a full tournament day of heat on medium with enough left to charge your phone on the drive home. It slides into the side power pocket, plugs straight into the seat's cable, and the four lights tell you what's left. If you already have a power bank at home, that works too. If you don't, this is the one that's sized for the seat.

SitWarm Carry Bag

Goes with it

The Carry Bag

The seat folds flat and goes in with room left over for the power bank, gloves, a toque and a blanket. Zip it shut, shoulder strap on, one hand free for the gear bag. It keeps the seat dry in a wet trunk and keeps the car from looking like the rink lobby. Same 600D fabric as the seat.

Before you ask

Questions parents ask us

How warm does it get, and how long does the heat last?
Warm through a winter jacket in under two minutes on high. There are three levels for each zone, and most people run high to start and medium for the rest of the game. It runs off any USB power bank, the same kind you charge your phone with, which plugs into the side power pocket. A typical 10,000mAh bank gives about three hours on high; the 20,000mAh SitWarm Power Bank covers a full tournament day. If you don't already own one, add it to your order above.
Will it fit my bleachers?
Yes. The base is wide and flat with a non-slip bottom, so it sits square on standard aluminum or wood bleachers, stadium seats and benches, and stays put when you lean back. It also works on flat ground, boat seats, and the floor at home.
Is it hard to set up?
No. Unfold it, set it on the bench, plug the cable into your power bank and press the heat button. Under a minute the first time. The recline adjusts by pressing on the back while you lean, which takes one game to get used to. Don't push it past about 100 degrees. That's the whole manual.
Is it big enough for a larger adult?
The seat is 20.5 inches wide with the armrests up and opens wider with them folded down. The back is 18 inches tall on a steel frame, so it supports a full-sized adult rather than just your tailbone. We have plenty of 6'3"+ dads in the reviews.
Can I use it outside in rain or snow?
The 600D fabric is water resistant and wipes clean, so rain, slush and a wet bench are fine. Keep the power bank in the zipped pocket, and don't leave the seat sitting in standing water with the heat running.
How heavy is it to carry with the gear bag?
8.3 lb, about the same as a laptop bag. It folds flat to 3.5 inches with everything left in the pockets, and the padded backpack straps keep both hands free for the hockey bag, the sticks, or the kid. The optional Carry Bag adds a shoulder strap and room for a blanket.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are packed and shipped within 2 to 3 business days and arrive in 7 to 9 business days after that. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as it leaves. We ship worldwide, and orders of two or more seats ship free.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated at checkout and rates can vary depending on your location. Any customs fees for orders outside the US and Canada are the buyer's responsibility.
What if I don't love it?
You have 30 days from delivery. If it isn't what you hoped, email us and we'll sort out a return and a full refund. The heating element is covered for a full year.
